George is responsible for shaping the company’s strategic direction and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Beginning his career at Genesys as an electronics engineering intern, he is the business’ showcase homegrown talent now mentoring other young engineers. Genesys' close collaboration with the research and development community and engineering faculties across Australia is the reason why they are the official partners of the UNSW Founders Program, Liverpool Innovation Precinct, IoT Alliance Australia and NSW Smart Sensing Network. George leads this work, ensuring Genesys is among the first to adopt emerging technology whilst helping to cultivate the next generation of Australian engineering talent.
Damien is responsible for new technology adoption, service development and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Before being named Co-CEO in 2023, Damien quickly rose through the ranks of Genesys’ hardware engineering team by leading flagship projects including Navbit, Elpro and Electrogenics. Prior to joining Genesys, Damien was based in Finland as an Operations Manager leading projects such as Beddit, a Finnish sleep tracker that would go on to be acquired by Apple. Damien also spent several years developing his career at Convergens electronics design house where he started his career as a hardware engineer. The large-volume manufacturing experience gained in Finland continues to shape Damien’s systematic approach to product development at Genesys.
Bringing decades of engineering expertise and a legacy of innovation, Geoff drives technical excellence across every Genesys project as CTA. His contributions to the field have earned him broad recognition from The Australian Magazine right through to Engineers Australia, with the 2024 Neville Thiele Eminence Award celebrating his remarkable impact on the engineering profession. A Registered Professional Engineer (RPEng), Geoff started his career at Australian Water Association in 1979 before moving to Advanced Systems Research. During this time Geoff played a pivotal role in advancing military and radio communications, control systems, optical fibre, vehicle tracking, and M2M systems. Since founding Genesys in 1991 he has led projects across virtually every industry, solving complex challenges with an unwavering passion for innovation.
