Genesys Electronics Design is a specialized design house in Sydney, Australia. Founded in 1991 as Gestech Pty Ltd, it was later renamed as Genesys Electronics Design in 2003. With over 20 staff, the company focuses on contract development of complex electronic devices. Our team consists of hardware engineers, software engineers, and individuals with combined or specialist skills.

George began as an intern at Genesys, initially in electronics engineering but his fascination with software engineering saw him progress through the ranks to lead the discipline. He has overseen the development of a core value proposition for the company in its modularised software modules and template projects. As Co-CEO, George, shapes the company's strategic direction and also fosters a culture of innovation and excellence within the software engineering team.
Damien's career started at an electronics design house in Finland as a hardware engineer. He rose to become Operations Manager leading projects such as Beddit, a Finnish sleep tracker that would later be acquired by Apple. Migrating to Australia he joined Genesys, quickly becoming the lead hardware engineer. As Co-CEO, he will lead adoption of new technologies, and new services around production logistics, while fostering a collaborative team environment.
Geoff started his career at AWA in 1979 and later moved to Advanced Systems Research. In those roles, he worked on advanced military communications and control systems, optical fibre and radio-communications and vehicle tracking systems and M2M systems. A desire to do engineering unimpeded by corporate restraints led him to establish his own consulting firm, which became Genesys. Since, then he has delivered projects in virtually every industry and application. As CTA, Geoff will be driving technical excellence in every project.

Interns & Students
Genesys partners with local universities and regularly employs undergraduate electrical, mechatronic and software engineers, providing industrial experience or vocational work in the product development arena.
We actively support the development of STEM skills in school students in a variety of ways including technical support for F1 in Schools teams across Australia.
