OUR TEAM
We Specialise Without Compromise
Genesys Electronics Design is a design house specialising in the contract development of complex electronic devices.
Where other companies diversify to grow, we specialise without compromise, preferring to partner with other specialists where required.
Located in Sydney, Australia, the company was founded in 1991 as Gestech Pty Ltd and renamed as Genesys Electronics Design in 2003.
The business grew steadily over the years and now numbers over 15 staff. Approximately one third of the company are hardware engineers, one third software engineers and the last third have combined or specialist skills.
Geoff Sizer
Founder & CEO
Geoff started his career at AWA in 1979 and later moved to Advanced Systems Research. In those roles, he worked on advanced military communications and control systems, optical fibre and radio-communications and vehicle tracking systems and M2M systems.
A desire to do engineering unimpeded by corporate restraints led him to establish his own consulting firm. Since, then he has delivered projects in virtually every industry and application.

Jon Eggins
Chief Operations Officer
Jon has 20+ years experience in developing electronic products with Genesys, apart from a three year spell at Philips Dynalite.
He has interests in IoT architecture and electro-mechanical systems more generally. Jon has been responsible for other functions such as marketing and communications.
He has a passion for developing people and teams. Jon is the lead guitarist in the Genesys rock band.
