Gestech Pty Ltd was formed in 1991 by Geoff Sizer. The operations of the business grew through the 90s establishing Gestech as a leading electronics design consultancy.

In 2003 Genesys Electronics Design was formed to facilitate expansion of Gestech’s operations and to promote a more open share structure. From 2004 to 2008 Geoffrey Sizer worked in North America, and returned to Australia in 2009 and take on a role as CEO.

In 2009 Genesys commence an expansion exercise acquiring additional office space, staff, tools, client and projects. Throughout 2011 Genesys has undertaken a period of refinement and consolidation, with a major focus being the further professional development of the staff and company as a whole.
